How Word Work Builds Your Numbers

Your organization’s success depends on how well you meet your audience’s need. Word Work helps you do that well.

Word Work is just me today. Pam Learned, communications professional and resident of San Pedro at the Los Angeles Waterfront.

When you work with me, words emerge whole as your marketing message. Your message will engage volunteers and customers. The same message will flow into concise website copy,  compelling talking points, and strategic plans. These words take shape online, in print, and even sharpen your message: What you tell others about yourself at your next meeting.

I work with the people who intersect at business and community: nonprofits working with residents, businesses that employ those residents, and the municipalities that serve them all.

My full-service marketing communications firm (the first Word Work) operated in Philadelphia for 18 years, employing 5-7 writers and designers. I simultaneously served as an executive director of two nonprofits, reported on municipal and community news for a Gannett daily, and have been a strong advocate for the easing the life-altering lives of family caregivers. Today I work solo, delighting in my ability focus on special projects that matter most to business and community leaders.

My work starts with words, but my work is meant to translate into growing your numbers. If that sounds good, let’s meet to talk about your current needs.
